GENERAL GOALS - Improve your performance skills - Interact with performers in an inspirational environment - Experience the Italian culture and life-style - Reinforce knowledge acquired during the curricular terms STUDENT ACTIVITIES - Individual lessons and master classes - Solo performance in the final concert - Reviews in three different Italian newspapers - Award concerts for Summer 2009 - Weekend in Rome (optional) - Participate in musical events as a performer or audience - Practice TUITION Application and tuition fees: € 700,00 (€ 650,00 + € 50,00) GENERAL INFORMATION - The master class is open to pianists and singers from all nationalities with no age limit. - There will be a minimum requirement of 10 participants for the Piano Master Class and 12 participants for the Voice Master Class - The repertoire to be studied will be proposed by the student and approved by the teacher at the beginning of every course. - Practice pianos will be available at the Santoro Academy. - Students are required to bring scores of the pieces they intend to play. - During the course of study, various concerts will be organized for students who will be required to participate. - All students are required to bring concert attire. ACCOMMODATION - DIFFERENT OPTIONS: Mary’s Hotel: (5 minutes walk to the academy) - Room with one or two beds, bathroom, TV and phone (€ 30,00), or - Room with one or two beds + two meals per day (€ 50,00). Apartment: (10 minutes walk) - One apartment is available (reserved for students over 21.) It has 3 rooms with 5 beds, one bathroom, a large kitchen and one Piano for practicing. FEES AND EXPENSES: - General application fee: € 50,00 + Tuition fee: € 650,00; - Rent for apartment for 15 days: € 150,00; - Mary’s Hotel: Room with bath, television, phone: € 30,00 per day; - Mary’s Hotel: Room with bath, television, phone and 2 meals: € 50,00 per day.
